Mystery Hawk Michelle
spotted this raptor over Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas on June 28,
2006. We managed a minute of so of long-distance video before we
lost it. Here are some video captures from the film. The bird
had some very interesting markings but they unlike anything I've seen on
hawk watches here in Virginia. Anyone have some insight on the ID or
markings found on the bird? Thanks. |
